... it is true. Every day we progress beyond the day before, learning, discovering, opening new worlds. The problem is, we don't realize this. We don't recognize that little discoveries today will make gigantic differences to our world, changing it almost daily. We go on as if every single day will be the same. It won't. It will be vastly different. We need to ensure that, for the next few generations, freedom actually does reign, here in America.
How can this be done?
How can we save our country from the feelings of certain doom that seem to loom from almost every corner of our government, much less from every corner of the world.
The "Progressives" (or whatever they are calling themselves this year) are hell-bent on setting up the "State" that controls all, and the Republicans strolling along while the world changes around them ... damn, that sounds familiar.
I have asked myself a hundred times or more, how can this be done?
Can it be done?
I can't think of a single thing that Americans, once motivated to action, haven't accomplished. We can swagger if we want.
We've earned that for ourselves, at least for a little while longer.
American Ingenuity can do anything if we are motivated enough.
So, I guess the real questions are: What will it take to motivate us, and how can we keep all this from happening for another hundred years?
I can tell you one thing, jumping up and making radical changes isn't necessarily the best strategy.
If we manage, somehow, to retake congress, we must not change everything willy-nilly. We must examine a few recent laws (to begin with) and send that law to the Supreme Court for an acid test against the Constitution.
Can we do that?
We are the States (mine's Texas :) ... of course we can do that. I'm pretty sure we can go back and eliminate a whole boatload of crap from just the last two years just by the repeal process. We can probably kiss a bunch of the money goodbye, but I'd bet we can recover a lot of it (tied up in red tape or bribes).
We need to examine our world and craft an amendment to the Constitution to keep a tighter reign on the Federal Government.
Then we can build an ethical, well thought out solution to our current crisis before things go nuts.
Perhaps we can even face the changing world of the future with free and open eyes.

Trillions are interesting ...
They are! Do you know, really and without any kind of visual references, what trillions means? We can, usually with ease, imagine what a thousand is. It's ten one-hundred-dollar bills. One hundred thousand. It is a big number, but almost everyone can imagine it. We've been so completely exposed to a million that we can see it, even use it without really knowing what it is. A billion is almost as common. A trillion? Apparently a trillion is as common in political speech as a hundred is in daily speech.
Let's look at it sideways ... A hundred thousand, easy
A thousand thousand? Oh ... that's a Million.
A hundred million ... a hundred thousand thousand.
Billion? A thousand million! Wow, Can you really wrap your mind around a thousand million? A hundred thousand million is one hundred billion.
Holy crap. One hundred thousand million is a hundred billion.

A thousand billion dollars is one trillion dollars. A thousand thousand million dollars. Cripes! A thousand thousand million dollars! According to some sources, the actual national debt is closer to one hundred-six trillion dollars (give or take twenty trillion, depending on the data used).

If the state of California is in debt for something like twenty-six billion dollars, and it is the most ... broke? The most broke state in the country, and if every state in this country was just as broke, the debt would be on the order of one trillion three hundred billion dollars.
The bailouts and the stimulus package are on the order of one trillion five hundred billion dollars.
I know, the numbers don't necessarily show all of the other variables, but it puts the whole thing in a strange perspective, doesn't it?

Playing well with others ...
I recently read an article in our local (online) newspaper by Mr. Dave McNeely that considers our recent political climate and the bad behavior of people in town hall meetings and the like
Why has our political discourse become so uncivil?
While the article was interesting, although I think differently than Mr. McNeely, I felt a need to share my opinion. That opinion follows:

I respect your opinion, and I can understand why you feel that way, but my ideas on this subject differ significantly from yours.
Playing well with others
While this is important, what one must realize is there is a key word used in that statement - with. In order to play with others, you must believe that they are with you. In today's political climate, the people involved are usually against each other, not with each other.
Opposition means what it says. They are on the other team. Our job is to make the other team lose. Conflict is inevitable, and since this isAmerica , that conflict is usually spirited, boisterous and animated. It has always been that way, here, in America.
Without the essence of conflict, nothing can get done. There is a time for sitting and talking calmly, but the political process in America, when decisions are being made for millions or hundreds of millions of people, cannot be that time.
Today, almost every political process in this country is driven by diametrically opposing forces. When these forces meet, there is always conflict.
Be a student of history as well as philosophy. Americans have, for 233 years, used these conflicts to resolve their differences, both in the halls of congress and on the battlefield. If it were otherwise, this would still be a colony.
If we ever run out of political conflict, with its endemic shouting matches, we will cease to be a Representative Republic, and will instead be an autocracy, dictatorship, or nothing at all.

Putting it Together ...
What, do you suppose, is the "Left" trying to accomplish? Is their nefarious 'plan' really a plan? Or is it just a long series of stupid ideas and mistakes? All of the whiners, enablers and sympathizers can stick their collective heads in the sand, all the Hope&Changers can pretend that, if we give Obama and Congress "Just a little more time," they'll prove that all of the conspiracy theorists , 9/12ers, Beck-a-holics, Teabaggers and Fox News addicts are wrong.
It's up to the People to bring the preponderance of evidence before the world. The evidence is lying in plain sight. There are videotapes, audio files, statements made before vast audiences, promises and bribes, proof of voter fraud and malfeasance, and incontrovertible proof of Mister Obama's flagrant disregard for basic laws and traditional American values. Not 'Christian' values or Muslim, Hebrew, or even pagan values. American values.
What follows is a short list of what I believe the CommunoMarxist Liberal Socialists intend for America:
The Constitution:
- To supplant the Constitution with a ‘living document,’ rather than the document of ‘negative liberties’ we now use
- Marginalize the Founding Fathers and their capitalist ideas
- Remove sense of American values-based system
Illegal immigration:
- Use ‘amnesty’ to create a larger (12 – 20 million “new” voters) Democrat base
- Catch/release/reward illegal aliens
- New deportment rules (catch in CA, AZ, NM, NV, and release in TX)
- Dismantling of immigration and border security at both of our borders
Healthcare reform:
- To ensure a solid control of all aspects of our lives through “health choices” management (smoking, drinking, high fat / high sugar / high salt foods etc.)
- Payback for services unions (SEIU and others)
- Bribes to congress and/or from congress such as payoffs, pork-barrel projects, disaster relief, etc
TARP:
- 1st half - Legacy of George W. Bush – Big mistake? Maybe not - perhaps the TARP program sticker shock, followed closely by Stimulus sticker shock actually prevented Obama from pushing everything through with speed and little resistance because the American people had already spent too much
- 2nd half - To pay off people that ‘helped’ administration get elected (ACORN, SEIU and many others)
Stimulus:
- To pay back, support, and/or pay off those people and organizations that ‘helped’ administration get elected
- Massive pork-barrel bribery
- To force huge numbers of people to begin relying solely on the gov’t for support (welfare, unemployment compensation, etc.)
Unions:
- To enforce (Persuasion of Power) for the administration
- To provide a 2.5 million vote powerbase.
- A standing irregular army?
Free Speech:
- To control the exchange of ideas, as long as the speech has nothing to do with the Constitution, freedom or the right to bear arms; but more to allow any group to critcize values- or morals-based thought. Hate speech is fine as long as it is about Christians, conservatives or whites in general
- Political correctness - control the language and you can control the populace - see George Orwell's "Animal Farm" or "1984"
- Contain conservative ideals and values using radio and TV regulation schemes, net-neutrality and the Fairness Doctrine
2nd Amendment:
- To remove the ability of Americans to purchase or acquire personal arms, while ignoring illegal gun trades and criminal prosecution
- Without weapons, Americans will be left defenseless
- The ‘illegal’ arms trade will flourish - Only criminals will be able to get guns
National defense:
- To dismantle all current conflicts and run home while apologizing to the world for our arrogance and bowing to foreign dignitaries
- Ensuring that radical Islam is allowed to flourish and is emboldened because the "Great Satan" is perceived as weak and ineffectual
- Marxists, Maoists, communists, socialists, progressives, and liberals are in the White House and are active members of the administration staff
- These philosophies are endemic to this administration and are used in every decision
- A call, worldwide, for the ‘democracy’ of socialist, communist and Marxist government, ostensibly formed by the ‘people’ for the ‘people,’ to unite, but really made-to-order for the wealthy elite to control a populace
- Control is exerted through union membership and thug-ism, and government-run nanny-state based economy
Freedom of Religion:
- Except for values-based religion
- To control the power of Christianity
- To allow for other religions to subsume or supplant Christianity in the U.S.A.
Take-overs and Make-overs: To ensure control of industry
- Automotive (fuel and energy)
- Finance (monetary control)
- Housing (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, ACORN, etc …)
- Manufacturing (including refinery)
- Prevent new industry / manufacturing
- Global warming, ‘green energy’ initiatives. Not to save the planet, but to exert control over every aspect of industry.
- Massive ‘regulation’ of current industry designed to stop capitalism and promote left-wing agenda
- Health Insurance (see Healthcare Reform above)
These are, by far, not the only ones, just the obvious ones. Why other people cannot see this, although it is as clear as a sunny day, escapes me.
Is it possible that there is a conscious effort to not see?
If we ignore it, all that will go away is our Freedom.
Where ...
Where is the hope that America needs? Where is the Statesman we need to guide us through these reefs of upheaval?
I can't find one anywhere.
I see Glenn. He has the voice and the talent, but he won't run and he has to factor the opposition. They hate him as much or more than they hate Rush.
I see Rush. He has the voice and the talent, but he won't run and he has to factor the opposition. They hate him as much or more than they hate Beck.
I see Sarah. She has the wit, intelligence, common sense and willpower, but I am not sure if she can be elected. If she was, they'd block her at every turn. Perhaps that will change.
I see Mike, Mitt, Ron, and a few others, but I see no Statesmen, no Leaders, no Game Changers.
I see no one, except maybe Sarah, that can lead this country from its current path to its true path.
We need someone that can speak to the American people, not talk down to them. Someone that can make real sense of these monstrous bills and tell us what they really mean, without inciting riots or fomenting rebellion.
We need to fire Congress, but no one will do that (I would). We really need to fire the President, and we really, really need to fire his staff. They are the second most dangerous of all. Finally, we need to find and disconnect Obama's "Shadow Cabinet," (Soros, Stern, Dunn, the Apollo Group, SEIU and ACORN), and the other illicit and illegal stars of the BHO Crush America Express Train.
All the evidence is there, but Congress will not act on it for fear that their own backgrounds and activities will be discovered.
Let it be discovered!
Tell the truth.
Leave nothing hidden, expose yourself so we can expose them!
If a SuperLiberal like David Letterman can face the consequences of his own actions, I am sure that our elected officials can stand the scrutiny (as long as they don't lie about it).
If they are worth keeping, then we will forgive their indiscretions. If not, then they need to find other work, anyway.
If there is no one, then We, the People, must be our own Statesman, our own advocate, our own Arbiter of Liberty.

Sham
Congress must stop its march towards control of the country. Stop making laws without the permission of the American People. This 'fundamental change' is nothing more than a mask for the theft of Liberty.
Healthcare Reform is a sham. If our system needs to be restored, we can delay healthcare for when the country is once again prosperous. It makes much more sense that a prosperous country spreads prosperity better than a bankrupt one does.
There are very few places in the world that need no reform. I can't think of any, right off hand, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.
Reform to any system should be nudges, one at a time, with ample time to study its effects. What will not work is a gigantic list of taxable offenses, designed to bring the 'poor' (those that are tied to the system beyond recovery) up in status by taking all wealth and diffusing it into the system.
It doesn't matter what the bill is.
Healthcare, Stimulus, Omnibus, Defense, Cap-n-Trade, they are all loaded with hidden taxes and subsidies (paid for with the taxes), intended to subjugate everyone that isn't one of them.
The 'poor won't be any better off, but there will be a lot more of them living in the same conditions they do now.

... The Opposite of War
I am paraphrasing something I heard on "Battlestar Galactica" (the old series, not the new one) long ago, but I took it to heart then, and keep it now.
Often times, the opposite of war is not peace, but slavery.
It is something we may want to meditate on (but not for long). If we get to the end of the "war on terror" we'll probably find the world in one of two positions. We will be victorious in war, or we will be slaves under Islamic Sharia law.
For those that still don't understand, I'll repeat some words from an earlier blog.
In Islam, there are two "houses" and only two houses. There is the House of Islam, and there is the House of War. If you do not stand in the House of Islam, then you stand in the House of War.
There are no exceptions.
Consider ... the opposite of the House Of War is the House of Islam, where you are enslaved to Allah, ruled by Sharia, and live blinded by the corrupt teachings of a violent religion. Unable to follow your heart to your happiness, you must follow Islam into the house of war until all the world stands within it.
No more movies, no more books, no more television, no sports, no dances, no marriage for love, no marriage for any but those that follow Islam.
No homosexuality, no tolerance at all for difference in race, creed, color, religion, sex (for women), or any of the 'diversity' that is preached by liberals and fascists.
Artists? No.
Free Press? No.
Amusement parks? No.
County fairs, beach parties, comings-of-age parties, bacon, ham and pork chops, Jews and Israelis, women doctors (really women's rights will all be history), books ... all of it will be gone, but we will still have war to maintain our slavery.

... Our landed gentry
Is there no mechanism in place for the American people to halt all Congressional action (submitting bills, voting on legislation, etc.) until a full investigation into the actions and dealings of the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the Office of the President can be performed?
Surely our founders made provision for such an occurrence, as they were well aware of the possible consequences of widespread corruption within the federal government?
As far as I can see (which is a long way in West Texas) the citizens of this country are sick and tired of the lies, deceptions and webs of intrigue that make the U.S. Congress look more like the court of a corrupt monarchy than an elected body of trusted officials.
I am troubled by the current actions of the members of both parties. These people are not noblemen, regardless of how they may see themselves, they are elected by the people.
We are not their serfs, regardless of how they may see us.
Our senators and representatives seem to be more interested in holding office and enriching themselves and their special interest supporters than doing anything for their constituents.
I submit that this is a mistake, and that this mistake will lead to long-term negative consequences for our government and us, the people that elected them.
Only by acting decisively and quickly can we hope to avoid dire consequences for our Republic.

Bullshit Fatigue ...
I have it.
I am sick unto death of the government. I am sick of the lies of 'congress.' I am sick of the lies of the president. I am sick of the bullshit that comes out of my television every day.
Sick.
Of.
It.
The president lies to us all and the 'media' lambastes the one man who spoke up. Nancy Pelosi lies, the media cover it with lavish praise. Congress lies and lies and lies, but no one seems to notice because it either isn't reported, or it is covered up with more bullshit.
The media lies, and half of America drinks it like cherry flavored sugar-water. The other half doesn't care! They're too busy trying to get by because all the lies have left them poor and jobless, unable to afford five gallons of gas for their crappy government-made cars.
Soon, my fellow Americans, we will all suffer the depredations of the liars. Our towns will look like the Soviet Union, with bread lines and soup kitchens, with people unable to face the world without their vodka, unable to produce because they don't make enough money to even care about producing. Eating grass just to survive another miserable day.
Ambition is bad because it somehow diminishes others if you are happy or successful. Wealth is bad because it must have, somehow, damaged everyone else in order to benefit you.
Our government believes themselves to be noblemen, given their place by virtue of their extreme wealth. It's okay to be extremely wealthy, because someone has to run things. King Obama and his court, their sycophants and cronies, the barons of his fiefdoms re-elected time after time, thus proving their right to be in control, their own enforcers and union brute-squads to keep all the peons, serfs, slaves, and indentured servants in their place.
It sounds like all the bad places we have seen in the modern age.
Soviet Russia, North Korea, Somalia, Iran, Iraq, Vietnam ... Amerika? Ruled by fear and poverty, unable to overcome even the smallest problems without massive government intrusion.
This is bullshit, America, and we are all suffering from bullshit fatigue.
I know you're tired and sore. I know you're feeling hung-out-to-dry, used, abused, lied to and mistreated. So am I.
John Adams isn't here to lead, Thomas Jefferson isn't here to show us the way. George Washington isn't available to bring us victory over our dictators.
We must do the hard thing. The hardest of things. We must pledge our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor or our children will have none of these things.
We must be the new Americans, but the old Americans are still with us. We have guidance, if we have the stomach for it.
The Constitution of the United States, the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, the Federalist papers, the writings of Thomas Payne and Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson. The Old Americans are still there, in those places, reminding us what we have to lose.
We must slog through the bullshit, wade through the lies and cover-ups and corruption.
If we do, then perhaps it will be another 200 years before someone else has to do it again. If we do it right, perhaps even a thousand years may pass before America has to prove her mettle and stand against the oppression of would-be tyrants and kings.
We can become the next Greatest Generation, or we can become the Last Generation.

Ambition is bad because it somehow diminishes others if you are happy or successful. Wealth is bad because it must have, somehow, damaged everyone else in order to benefit you.
Our government believes themselves to be noblemen, given their place by virtue of their extreme wealth. It's okay to be extremely wealthy, because someone has to run things. King Obama and his court, their sycophants and cronies, the barons of his fiefdoms re-elected time after time, thus proving their right to be in control, their own enforcers and union brute-squads to keep all the peons, serfs, slaves, and indentured servants in their place.
It sounds like all the bad places we have seen in the modern age.
Soviet Russia, North Korea, Somalia, Iran, Iraq, Vietnam ... Amerika? Ruled by fear and poverty, unable to overcome even the smallest problems without massive government intrusion.
This is bullshit, America, and we are all suffering from bullshit fatigue.
I know you're tired and sore. I know you're feeling hung-out-to-dry, used, abused, lied to and mistreated. So am I.
John Adams isn't here to lead, Thomas Jefferson isn't here to show us the way. George Washington isn't available to bring us victory over our dictators.
We must do the hard thing. The hardest of things. We must pledge our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor or our children will have none of these things.
We must be the new Americans, but the old Americans are still with us. We have guidance, if we have the stomach for it.
The Constitution of the United States, the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, the Federalist papers, the writings of Thomas Payne and Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson. The Old Americans are still there, in those places, reminding us what we have to lose.
We must slog through the bullshit, wade through the lies and cover-ups and corruption.
If we do, then perhaps it will be another 200 years before someone else has to do it again. If we do it right, perhaps even a thousand years may pass before America has to prove her mettle and stand against the oppression of would-be tyrants and kings.

How it is supposed to be ...
I was sitting at home a week or so ago, enjoying my day when my wife decided to watch a show called "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" with Tye Pennington. It was a very touching story about a family that moved to a neighborhood in Albuquerque, New Mexico with the express purpose of saving the crime-ridden area. This man, a minister of Christian faith, risked his life and the lives of his family to make a difference.
These people had given up most of their family time, money, effort and love in order to help their homeless, unemployed neighbors. A very moving story.
In any case, this TV show came in and refurbished their home, which had become a community living place for the needy, as well as this family's primary residence. They also cleared a dangerous section of the neighborhood, while building (from scratch) an entire new home for the family to live next to their old community living space/residence.
Anyway, the point in this long post is to emphasise that this project cost the family nothing, cost the community nothing, and cost the government nothing (local, state, or federal).
Hundreds of thousands of dollars were spent by individuals and businesses to accomplish their goal of helping people.
An entire community has been saved by the entire community and the sponsors of the show. As far as I know, all the contributors received no direct monetary reward for their contribution.
The sponsor's did get 'product placement' during the show and during the whole process of renovation/building.
Capitalism at its finest, as far as I am concerned.
No government mandated charity (Tax Dollars) were necessary. No government organizations had to spend your tax money.
No tax money was used ...

People were helped. People were given a chance for pursuing their happiness, and your taxes were not used!
Welfare is unnecessary!
Charity is the right of the people to freely give, not the right of the government to take (without consultation or permission) your money and spend it on what they think you need to spend it on.
Like A.C.O.R.N. Like useless public education systems. Like entrenched welfare recipients that make more 'free' money from the government than they can at an actual job.
Consider this a call to end public welfare.
I wonder how many billions or even trillions (which is literally thousands of billions) of dollars we could put to much better use than the government can if we were to end the public dole.
Remember, Ending welfare also ends welfare fraud, waste and abuse of the welfare system.
Yes. End the Public Welfare System.
Phase it out, stop it abruptly, whatever is necessary, but end it and end it now!

Vetting ...
In my relatively inept combing of the Web for information, I have run across this statement (or very similar statements) constantly: "The White House (or substitute your favorite Obama title) has not vetted the people that have been appointed to 'czar' positions."
That is a load of garbage.
I submit that BHO and his administration knows every single item on their resume, every point on their Curriculum Vitae and every book, article or statement they have ever produced.
All of them have been 'vetted' thoroughly. They all follow the same dogma. They are all high positions specifically because of their beliefs, not in spite of them.
If you are a communist, why would you hire a capitalist? If you are a socialist (fascist), why would you hire a conservative? If you are a Marxist, why would you hire a free enterprise guru?
The short answer is: You wouldn't.
Obama and his brute squad of flunkies and thugs are in full support of his czar team of socialist/Marxist/communist radicals ...
... unless they are caught (like Van Jones). He then immediately disavows knowledge or ignores the discovery until the flailing supporter drowns in their own stupidity.
He offers no guidance or support for his people. He either throws them under the bus, or actively decries that he 'didn't know' they were like that.
He left Van Jones to drown. Obama did not support Jones, he simply let (forced?) him resign in the dark of night to avoid further controversy and moved on.
I wonder if Van feels violated? I wonder if he feels like his 'friend' Obama just bent him over a chair? Or does he feel proud, knowing that his sacrifice might lead to Obama's "Greater Good."
I am offering a fair warning to all Obama supporters. If you screw up, if you talk too much, or if he feels you are any kind of threat at all to his Plan, you will be sacrificed. He does not care what happens to you after he ejects you from Air Force One. He will offer you no parachute. He will extend no lifeline to you. You will simply free-fall to the earth and (politically) perish.
You have been warned. This warning is especially meant for his flunkies in the House and Senate (Pelosi, Reid, and all the others), and his advisers and "Czars."
I, for one, am eagerly waiting for the next victim, and the next, until all can see him for what he is.

Competence ...
We look for people with competence when we are hiring workers, looking for volunteers and taking care of our kids.
Why don't we do the same when we are electing (and re-electing) the people that work for us in the government?
We seem to think that these people that we elect are smarter than us. That they are more capable than we are, so they must know what they are doing.
I have good news. These people are not better, smarter or more competent than we are. I mean, really, do you honestly believe that Ted Kennedy was all that intelligent? He was clever. He had tons and tons of money, and he had a family influence that was way out of proportion to his abilities. He talked a good talk and used threats and deception when his cleverness wasn't sufficient. He was a thief, liar, womanizer, coward and murderer. How did this man ever get elected to office?
What about Barney Frank? The man is an idiot. His constituents are either complacent, lazy, or worse. Why in the world would anyone elect Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi? Neither of them are any smarter than most of their voters.
Neither of them has the competency that I see every day from the people I work with. Neither of them, I suspect, have read the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, or the Declaration of Independence. Well, maybe the Declaration, as it is an easy read compared to the Constitution.
Ignorance of the Law is no excuse for breaking the Law.
Given the chance, I am quite sure that the President, Pelosi, and Reid would dispose of the aforementioned documents without reading them, and replace them with a fascist document that put them in charge permanently (for our own good, of course).
What we need is an amendment that reaffirms the principles of our founders, reaffirms government's role in our lives, and reasserts the power of the people, while limiting the damage that incompetents and liars can do through the executive, legislative and judicial branches.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has a program in place that allows us to recall defective and dangerous items and fix or replace them with better, safer and more reliable products.
Do we not have the same power as Americans under the Constitution of the United States of America? Is it required that we be forced to sit through two full years of idiocy before we can correct our mistakes? Is there no mechanism for recall of defective representatives, senators, and presidents?
We must recall and fire all the violators of the Constitution, whether they are Supreme Court justices, Presidents, congressmen and -women, city council members, school board trustees and the like.
We must do it now, or face a constitutional crisis the likes of which will be remembered in history as the Second American Revolution, or the Second American Civil war.
Bloodless or Bloody, something must be done to protect our children from the depredations of communism, socialism, and fascism.

Fundamental ...
I have said it. Many people on all sides of the political spectrum have said it as well.
What we are looking are fundamental changes in our way of life. What most people seem to miss is what exactly 'fundamental' means.
Fundamental:
- "A leading or primary principle, rule, law, or article, which serves as the groundwork of a system; essential part, as, the fundamentals of linear algebra."
- "Pertaining to the foundation or basis; serving for the foundation. Hence: Essential, as an element, principle, or law; important; original; elementary; as, a fundamental truth; a fundamental axiom."
In easy terms, fundamental means the foundation. What I mean is, the foundation of everything we, as Americans, have believed in since the beginning. The fundamental change will happen (has happened?) to the foundation our founding fathers prepared for us. the one they fought for, they gave their fortunes for, they gave their blood and the blood of thier friends and family for. The foundation that I held in my heart every day that I served in the military. The foundation that made America the envy of the planet.
That is the fundamental change the Obama administration is looking for. They want a world of goon squads and thugs, secret police and snitches, fear, and poverty for the masses. They want a world ran by beaurocratic decisions based on some flunky's sense of self-importance. They want a world that they decide who gets what, how much they get, and how much they pay.
A fundamental change, in thier eyes, means no more choice, no more variety. It means hundreds of people waiting in line for dozens of hours just to get a bar of lye soap and a roll of toilet paper.
Will this happen tomorrow?
Some of it will, some of it will be a little later, but all of it would come to pass eventually.
It will take the combined force of America's public will to stop it.
The only question that remains is: Are there enough Americans with enough Will left to stop it?

So, this idiot Van Jones called Republicans assholes. Ok, I can accept that. Then he apologises. I can accept that, too. But, he said that it was 'before' he joined the administration. Does that mean that, because he is now part of the Obama camp, he no longer regards Republicans as assholes? I find that difficult to believe.

A short note ...
On Mark Sanford ... It is a matter of character. As a man, he should own up to his responsibilities and ask himself if he has the trust of his people. I suspect he doesn't. That being said, it has nothing to do with his party affiliation, his political views, or his religion. It is a matter of personal character that is to be expected of the men and women that lead this great nation. All of them need to look at themselves and ask "What am I doing for the good of this country?" If they don't know, or worse, do know and still show poor judgment, they should have the intestinal fortitude to face their voters and do the right thing.

What will it take?
What will it take for the "leaders" of our country to realize that we are not a happy nation. Last November, the people elected Barrack Obama. They made their voice heard. Why? Well, because the government was hamstrung by the free press.
"What," you ask? "What are you babbling about?"
It's like this ...
When W was elected, the press tried to prevent him from taking office, claiming he stole the election. They were wrong, and they lost. They were mad.
September 11th, 2001.
The world changed. It changed in a fundamental way.
President Bush made some hard decisions. It was his job, and he did it.
We all joined hands for a moment. Then the press remembered they didn't like W. Not at all.
They rode his ass for the rest of his term, and when election time came again, they continuously fired torpedoes at him, while lavishing praise and admiration on a known coward and a traitor (you know, the kind they seem to like up New England way). Poor Teddy Kennedy is one like that. Yes, he's dying from cancer. So what. It changes nothing. MJ didn't stop being a child-molesting pervert when he died. Kennedy is still a murderer, and Kerry is still a coward.
A coward and a murderer. Hmph, New Englanders are stupid like that.
Anyway, the press tried to destroy Mr. Bush, even though the man they wanted to replace him with was a coward and a treasonous bastard, who went to war and lied about it to get famous. A man that knew less than nothing about being a real man.
They were wrong, they lost.
So, they dug up the worst kind of person, a true believer. He knows he is smarter than you. He's smarter than anyone, just ask someone.
Bush couldn't win re-election, he was prevented by the founding documents of this once great nation. He followed the rules. That's good, because he would never have managed to achieve anything else. The press had hounded and lied and witch-hunted him to a point where he completely lost his effectiveness.
Instead, they brought forth the Messiah (an awfully religious name for a man that so obviously hates religion). The man told us everything he wanted to do. He spent and entire career extolling his plans, while working with some of the nastiest, most hateful people in the country. Racists, domestic and foreign terrorists, preachers of hatred and bile, and armies of thugs that did his bidding [correction, I meant to say armies of thugs that do his bidding]. The press covered and lied to us about him. They presented him as a man of change. Not bad change, like he effected everywhere else he worked, but good change, change you could believe in.
You were duped, America. You're starting to realize it, but it's probably far too late.
Now, in towns and cities all across the fruited plains, Americans are starting to awaken. They're beginning to feel that ol' familiar tug in their hearts. They are Americans! We are speaking out, like we should have before this travesty was inaugurated into the highest position on the planet.
Many of us saw it, but everyone else was mesmerized by the words, or they said "Surely he can't really be like that, or he wouldn't be a senator," or they dismissed anything a conservative said because Bush was a conservative, and the press said that conservatives were bad.
They weren't mad any more after that, they had won. They were still wrong.
Now it comes full circle, and Americans are spitting mad. Some are fighting mad. They are filling the town-hall meetings and asking questions, sometimes with ... enthusiasm ... yes, enthusiasm works,it's very American.
The free press is hamstringing you. They are marginalizing your voices, ridiculing your worries, and ignoring your concerns.
Must we introduce a referendum? Should we recall all of the congressmen and women we elected, so that they must answer for their actions? Will we have to recall our president, so that he may answer for his?

ObamaNation ... Day 201
Barrack Obama has been president of the United States for 201 days, and America has been transformed. As a nation we have gone from a free republic to arguing about how much socialism we want.
Our president is in collusion with the enemies of freedom.
From Wikipedia - Collusion is an agreement, usually secretive, which occurs between two or more persons to deceive, mislead, or defraud others of their legal rights, or to obtain an objective forbidden by law typically involving fraud or gaining an unfair advantage.
Whether it is the Union Bosses, the Palestinian Terrorists, or the pharmaceutical companies, he is in collusion with them.
Barrack Obama is conspiring with our enemies to bring down the Constitution, subvert our laws and control our populace through manipulation, deceit, and obfuscation.
This morning, FreedomWorks reminded me that I had seen this before. In addition to citing the works of C.S. Lewis, they also quote Tolkien's masterwork "The Lord of the Rings." They mention the speech of Saruman and its effect on those that hear it.
In any case, Obama is colluding with people and organizations that look out only for their own best interests. He speaks like Saruman, and people are dazzled, distracted and confused. He uses ACORN as his army, union thugs as his enforcers, and lies as his tools of choice.
Obama has a vision of America that, although not un-imaginable, is very difficult to believe.
Surely no one is his right mind could possibly envision America as Land of the Fees, Home of the
Slaves?
Surely no one wants to control every aspect of our lives, from birth to death?
As surely as I am typing this, Obama wants exactly that. The long-term plans laid out by by Bill Ayers and his ilk are coming to fruition. The long-term plans of the socialist movement, in collusion with seedier elements of our government, have achieved the first of their goals.
The destruction of the American economy.
Through this destruction, they have placed many Americans in dire straits. They're losing their homes and their jobs.
All they needed was a 'savior' to promise them rescue. Promise them Obama did. He promised them homes, cars, money, health care, education and his version of freedom.
In the guise of helping he pushed through an enormous 'stimulus' that ensured that all of his sycophants got years and years of pet projects paid for (although they will never see it actually happen). Whether it is the Union Bosses, the Palestinian Terrorists, or the pharmaceutical companies, he is in collusion with them.
Barrack Obama is conspiring with our enemies to bring down the Constitution, subvert our laws and control our populace through manipulation, deceit, and obfuscation.
This morning, FreedomWorks reminded me that I had seen this before. In addition to citing the works of C.S. Lewis, they also quote Tolkien's masterwork "The Lord of the Rings." They mention the speech of Saruman and its effect on those that hear it.
In any case, Obama is colluding with people and organizations that look out only for their own best interests. He speaks like Saruman, and people are dazzled, distracted and confused. He uses ACORN as his army, union thugs as his enforcers, and lies as his tools of choice.
Obama has a vision of America that, although not un-imaginable, is very difficult to believe.
Surely no one is his right mind could possibly envision America as Land of the Fees, Home of the
Slaves?
Surely no one wants to control every aspect of our lives, from birth to death?
As surely as I am typing this, Obama wants exactly that. The long-term plans laid out by by Bill Ayers and his ilk are coming to fruition. The long-term plans of the socialist movement, in collusion with seedier elements of our government, have achieved the first of their goals.
The destruction of the American economy.
Through this destruction, they have placed many Americans in dire straits. They're losing their homes and their jobs.
All they needed was a 'savior' to promise them rescue. Promise them Obama did. He promised them homes, cars, money, health care, education and his version of freedom.
In the guise of helping he pushed through an enormous 'stimulus' that ensured that all of his sycophants got years and years of pet projects paid for (although they will never see it actually happen). Religion and "Peace"
If Islam is not a violent religion, then explain, in detail, why so many Muslims are murdered? Why are there dozens of 'sects' that do nothing but kill and hate each other, even though they all believe in the same 'Allah?' Islam is no more a 'peaceful' religion than is Christianity or Judaism.
In point of fact, can anyone name a major religion that does not have a violent record? None of the little pop-up faiths that one person, or a few people are involved with, but big religions.
Let us just look at Islam a tiny bit: Sharia in America.
Yes, those people were Christians. Yes they were there trying to start trouble. On the other hand, you can see the same hatred (from the Muslims) for the Christians that the Christians hold for the Muslims. The way that the Christians acted was stupid, the way that the Muslims acted was illegal (except, apparently, in Dearborn, Michigan)!
The religious are about hatred. The religious are about forcing their beliefs on others, with violence and death if necessary.
I am not a religious man, but I have seen a lot of religions (which is why I am not a religious man).
Most of my experience is with nominally "Christian" people, but I have a little experience with Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Confucianism, Wicca, and even some Judaism. Of those, the least currently violent ones are (oddly enough) Wicca, Buddhism, and Confucianism.
Islam is, currently, the most violent, even within its own proponents. Anyone that tells you different is lying, or trying to sell you something (probably your soul). Not all Muslims are violent, but Islam is violent. The non-violent Muslims will not try to stop the violent ones, if only because they are Muslim and they live in the House of Islam.
As far as I know, Islam has only two "Houses." There is the House of Islam, and there is the House of War. If you are not in the House of Islam, you are in the House of War.
That's it, that's all there is.

I have hatred, too.
I hate the very idea that some one's god-belief allows them to hurt me and my fellow Americans.
Do I hate Muslims? That is a hard question to answer since they have never given me a reason to like them. They have provided enough material for hatred to be borne. Think of September 11th, 2001.
I don't think I hate them, but I despise what they stand for.
I dislike violent religion, but I accept violence as part of human nature. Violence solves problems that are too big for talking or negotiating.
Make no mistake, I am not a pacifist. I own guns. Long range guns, short range guns and close-combat guns. I have ammunition for all of them.
Men should not be killed for their religion, nor should they kill for religion.
Kill to eat.
Kill to protect your family and friends.
Kill to preserve your way of life.
Do not kill in the name of your god (or gods).
Live your life, love your god, but do not try to make me love your god. Do not force me to submit to him, her or it.
I will not do it. I will fight to preserve my beliefs, I will even fight to preserve every one's right to believe in whatever they want, but I will not fight to preserve one god over another.
I will fight to prevent that.

Feeding the Tree
I have a new sticker on the back window of my pickup. It doesn't say "McCain/Palin" It doesn't mention Republicans, nor Liberals, it doesn't say Obama or NoBama or even mention a single name, place or thing. It is the basic Political Action party of America.
It simply says "Patriot."
No slogans or phrases, no call to action, no compromises.
It calls to mind a Jeffersonian idea ... and asks a question ...
"Is it time to feed the Tree of Liberty?"
Let us pray to all the Gods held dear by Americans that it is not.
Christian, Pagan, Hindu, Muslim, Atheist, Deist, and so on ... all of you out there, it is time for you to rise to the call of history!
Time to raise your voices in protest.
Time to fire the liars, cheaters, and thieves that have stolen our government.
Time to find the few honorable, trustworthy, sane leaders and lift them to the top, so they can, do, and will speak for us with our voices.
The voices of America ...
The voices of Patriots.
It is time for us to recall where we came from, remember why we are here, decide where we want to go, and hope ...

Lawlessness ...
If you make promises to people in order to gain position, then completely renege on those promises once you are in place, you are a liar.
If you take over a business and embezzle all of its money, then borrow a boatload of money using that same company's assets to cover your thievery, you are a thief, a criminal.
If you willfully engage in the systematic destruction of the United States of America and its founding principles, you are a traitor.
I believe Barrack Obama is a liar. I believe Barrack Obama is a thief. I believe Barrack Obama is a criminal and a traitor.
If anyone else in this country (excepting the liberal elite) were to act in such a way, they'd be arrested, thrown in jail, tried and found guilty, and given a sentence of 150 years or more for operating a Ponzi scheme. You'd probably even be tried for treason, which can carry a death sentence.
Unless, of course, you are Barrack Obama. As Obama, you are allowed to hire criminals, even people that vote for massive taxes, but avoid paying them in part or entirely. Some of them even blame their failure on tax software that was written so that even an idiot can use it successfully (as far as I know, our top government officials have accountants and staff that handle their taxes). Why would anyone that has accountants and staff use $40 software to do their 'patriotic duty' of paying taxes?
In any case, there are huge amounts of evidence against Obama, his sycophants, and his slaves.
Birth certificates, forgery, secrecy, threats, payoffs, disappearances, back room union deals, appropriations and take-overs of the private sector (completely illegal and unconstitutional), broken promises, and more are all par-for-the-course for our illustrious administration, and Obama has his fingers in all of it and more.
Almost everything he has done since achieving office has smacked of criminal activity, or at the very least, unsavory Chicago-style thug-ism.
My belief ... Barrack Obama has participated in, and continues to participate in High Crimes and Misdemeanors.
Obama should step down, before he completely destroys our credibility, our economy, and our entire way of life.
He should step down voluntarily, before he is forced to do so in disgrace.
